Lindenwold man crashes into back of NJ Transit Bus on Black Horse Pike

BLACKWOOD -- At approximately 9:16 p.m. Saturday night, a New Jersey Transit Bus was rear-ended on the Black Horse Pike southbound while parked at a bus stop and dropping passengers off.

COLLINGSWOOD -- A 2-alarm fire in the C building of the Heights of Collingswood apartment complex, located at 545 Newton Lake Drive, at approximately 5:20 a.m. sent 11 people to the hospital, including seven police officers, according to 6ABC.
Six of the officers sent to the hospital were from the Collingswood Police Department, and one was from Audubon. none of the injuries from the fire were considered life threatening.
Corzine wants to prepare NJ for coming economic blows

TRENTON, N.J. (AP) -- New Jersey Gov. Jon Corzine predicts the national economy will get worse before it gets better, and he says he's positioning the Garden State to absorb the blows.
Corzine has called a special session of the Legislature Thursday, when he says he'll lay out a plan to protect neighborhoods by buying foreclosed homes and create energy-sector and highway construction jobs.

CAMDEN -- Camden authorities have announced a shooting death that occurred Sunday morning at approximately 1:18 a.m.
Keneth Rpberts Jr., 34, of Camden, was sitting in a vehicle on 30th Street near Federal Street when he was shot multiple times.
The shooting is currently being investigated. Anyone with information is urged to contact Camden County Prosecutor's Office Investigator Diane Wilson at (856) 225-8400 or Camden Police Detective Joe McCray at (856) 757-7400.
Police arrest Millville man in connection with bank robberies

MILLVILLE -- Police have charged one man in connection with two recent bank robberies within the city at Colonial Bank and TD Banknorth. Both robberies occurred within the past two weeks.
Warren Walker, 44, of Woodland Drive, was charged Saturday with two counts of robbery and making terroristic threats. He sits in Cumberland County Jail on $500,000 bail.

GLOUCESTER TWP. -- The TD Banknorth branch on Blackwood-Clementon Road was robbed Friday of an unspecified amount of money, Police Chief Edward Smith said.
A man entered the bank branch about 9 a.m. and handed a teller a note demanding money. He fled on a mountain bike.
The suspect is described as a white male, 30 to 39 years old, medium build and 5-feet, 8-inches to 6-feet tall. He was wearing a hooded sweatshirt and dark sunglasses at the time of the robbery.

Swedesboro Olde King Jazz Fest set for Saturday

SWEDESBORO -- The borough will host its second annual Olde Kings Jazz Fest on Saturday from 1 p.m. to midnight at various venues throughout its downtown shopping area along Kings Highway.
"This year's event features our most popular artists from last year plus some exciting new performers," explained Swedesboro Councilwoman Diane Hale, who chairs the borough's Economic Development Committee. "The event is designed to feature some great musicians plus our historic sites and growing mix of restaurants and shops that call Swedesboro home."
Motorcycle run to honor fallen Philadelphia police sergeant to cross Ben Franklin

CAMDEN -- An estimated 100 motorcyclists will be crossing the Benjamin Franklin Bridge into Philadelphia about 11:15 a.m. Sunday as part of a motorcycle run in honor of fallen Philadelphia Police Officer Patrick McDonald.
There may be some delay in crossing the bridge at that hour, the Delaware River Port Authority advised.
The run begins at Barb's Harley Davidson Shop in Audubon.
