In their opening game of the 2010 football season, Rutgers struggled early. The team managed to score only two field goals in the opening half, but rebounded on all fronts in the second. NJASA successfully brought a court case against the Administration to challenge 2008 regulations for a new funding formula for state aid. The regulations improperly reduced compensation for superintendents, assistant superintendents and business administrators. The appeals court upheld NJASA positions on several key points.
