A police car speeding toward an emergency crashed into another car at Third and Washington streets last night, police said.
The accident happened at 10:22 p.m. police said. There were no serious injuries.

There are wine-by-the-glass specials tonight in Hoboken at both Onieals and Gaslight.What's going on in Hoboken tonight?
Jon D Angelo and Las Vandelays are playing at Goldhawk, beginning at 9 p.m. (free).
Adam and Dave's Bloodline, Maybe Pete and Chris Skel are playing at Maxwell's, beginning at 8:30 p.m. ($7).
Or, if you want to perform yourself, The Cage has go-go auditions every night at midnight and Wednesday is Karaoke night at Oddfellows, beginning at 9 p.m.

No City Council meeting tonight in Hoboken.For those of you planning to head to City Hall tonight for more budget fun -- don't.
There is no Hoboken City Council meeting tonight. The meeting was moved to Monday, Nov. 24 because many officials are in Atlantic City for the New Jersey League of Municipalities Meeting.
So what are you going to do with your empty evening? There's always meeting reruns on Channel 78 ...

A model shows off a shawl by Atelier Iona Loyola, one of the vendors coming to this year's Hoboken Craft Fair. Why hit the malls when you can do your holiday shopping right in Hoboken at the City of Hoboken's 14th Annual Holiday Crafts Fair on Dec. 6 and 7?
The fair includes gifts from 40 artisans selling such items as greeting cards, ornaments, pottery, stained glass, jewelry, quilts and photography.

Audrey Hepburn plays a princess traveling incognito in Rome and Gregory Peck is a reporter who discovers her ruse ... and falls in love with her.For those who are around town in the daytime, the Hoboken Public Library will be showing "Roman Holiday" tomorrow, Nov. 20 at 2 p.m.
The classic film, starring Gregory Peck and which won Audrey Hepburn an Academy Award, will be shown on the third floor of the library. The screening is free and open to all.
Free whisky tasting at The Brass Rail tomorrow

The Brass Rail at 135 Washington Street.A Hoboken Now reader -- and one of the co-founders of The Whisky Life magazine -- wanted everyone know about a free whisky tasting scheduled for tomorrow, Nov. 20, at The Brass Rail.
Glenfiddich will do a free blind tasting of single malt whisky tomorrow, Thursday, Nov. 20 from 7-9 p.m. at the Brass Rail. Glenfiddich representative Heather Greene, one of the preeminent female Scotch tasting experts in North America, will lead the tasting and discussion tomorrow night.
New float in Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade

Every year, the new floats and giant balloons for the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade are designed right here in Hoboken. And every day until Thanksgiving, we'll be giving you a sneak peek of the new floats you'll see in the parade this year.
This is the "Shine On" float, sponsored by Jimmy Dean (yes, the sausage company) that depicts sort of a psychedelic breakfast in New York City.

"It's been 16 years since the last significant tax increase. The problem wasn't created in one year." Hoboken's state monitor Judy Tripodi talks to the Hoboken Reporter about how Hoboken's taxes have been artificially low for the past few years.
A new funding formula for Abbott School districts -- like Hoboken -- may raise taxes and decrease some state aid.
