Eagles roster is nearly complete; few spots on line
PHILADELPHIA -- Depending on who you ask, or more precisely, who you choose to believe, there could be as many as four spots on the Eagles' 53-man roster on the line during tonight's final presea son game against the Jets at Lin coln Financial Field.

PHILADELPHIA -- What had been a special teams disaster in the rain against Carolina one week earlier turned into an apparent team strength at New England, where Eagles safety Quintin Demps took a kickoff back 101 yards for a touchdown and wide receiver DeSean Jackson returned a punt 76 yards for another score last Friday.

FOXBORO, Mass. -- The Eagles knew exactly what they were getting when DeSean Jackson fell into their lap as the 49th overall pick in the 2008 NFL Draft.

Special teams fuel Eagles past Patriots
FOXBORO, Mass. -- The new wrinkle in the Eagles' offense promised by team president Joe Banner when he appeared on Comcast SportsNet prior to last night's 27-17 win over the New England Patriots at Gillette Stadium was not Lito Sheppard, L.J. Smith or Usain Bolt lining up at wide receiver in place of in jured starters Kevin Curtis and Reggie Brown.
